Here at Coxys Music, your midi files
are not just re-edited with better sampled sounds - they are stripped,
re-built and after all the usual tweaks, live instruments can be added with the
inclusion of real vocals for backing - all this prior to being
re-mastered.
We would like point out
that none of these remarks are meant as defamatory towards the programmers of
these midi files, indeed we think that the songs are very well programmed.
This is merely an exercise to demonstrate that although a midi file can be
programmed well, there is generally still a lot of work to be done if you want
to achieve that professional sound.
Please note that these demos
have had to be sonically treated in various ways in order for them to be put
over the internet which has had a detrimental effect on the sound
recording. Rest assured that any piece recorded at Coxys Music is recorded
at 44.1kHz 24 bit Digital which is better that CD quality. We can also
record at 96kHz 24 bit Digital but this level of quality is rarely asked
for.
